The most efficient way to manage YouTube Shorts is to batch your workflow: create multiple videos in one session, upload them all at once, and schedule them to post over the coming days. This saves hours compared to uploading and posting in real-time.

Preparation

Before your upload session, get everything ready:

Video files: Export all your Shorts in 9:16 format. Name files descriptively—YouTube uses filenames as default titles.

Metadata: Write titles and descriptions in a spreadsheet. Having everything pre-written makes the upload process much faster.

Schedule: Decide when each video should go live. Map out your posting schedule in advance.

  1. Go to YouTube Studio (studio.youtube.com)
  2. Click Create, then Upload videos

  5. For visibility, select "Schedule" instead of Public
  6. Set the date and time for each video
  7. Click Schedule for each video
