Hashtags
Add relevant hashtags to increase reach. Instagram recommends 3-5 hashtags per post for optimal engagement.

Collaborators & Tags
Under Advanced Settings, you can invite collaborators and tag people on your Reel.
Invite Collaborators
Invite up to 3 Instagram users as collaborators on your Reel. They will receive a collaboration invite in their Instagram app and can accept to have the Reel appear on their profile as well.
Tag People
Tag Instagram users on your published Reel. Tagged users will receive a notification in their Instagram app. Note that users with private accounts cannot be tagged.
Type a username and press Enter to add. You can save your frequently used collaborators and tags as defaults in your preferences.
Common Issues
Connection requires a Business or Creator account
Instagram requires a Business or Creator account to use third-party posting tools like ShortSync. If your account is not a Business or Creator account, Instagram will ask you to convert it to one when you try to connect your account to ShortSync.
Tagged user or collaborator has a private account
Users with private Instagram accounts cannot be tagged or invited as collaborators. If a username is invalid or belongs to a private account, ShortSync will automatically skip that user and still publish your Reel with the remaining valid tags and collaborators.
