Client Connections
Invite clients to securely connect their own social media accounts to your workspace — no password sharing needed.
Team Plan Required
Client connections are available on the Team plan. You can upgrade from the Team menu in your account settings.
How It Works
- Send an invite — Go to your workspace settings and find the "Invite Client" card. Enter your client's email and click "Send invite".

- Client receives an email — Your client gets an email with a link to connect their accounts.
- Client connects their accounts — They click the link, create a ShortSync account (or sign in), and connect their social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) through each platform's official login. No passwords are shared with you.
This is what your client sees after accepting the invite:

- Accounts appear in your workspace — Once connected, the client's accounts show up in your workspace's platform connections, ready for publishing.
What Clients Can See
Clients have a restricted view — they can only manage their own platform connections. They cannot see your uploads, video library, schedules, or workspace settings.
- ✓Connect and disconnect their own social media accounts
- ✗View uploads, video library, or publishing history
- ✗Access workspace settings, team settings, or billing
- ✗Create workspaces or invite other members
Managing Clients
From the "Invite Client" card in your workspace settings, you can:

- •See pending invitations — Invitations that haven't been accepted yet
- •See connected clients — Clients who have accepted and connected their accounts
- •Revoke pending invitations — Cancel an invitation before it's accepted
- •Remove a client — Disconnect a client from your workspace
Security
Clients connect through each platform's official OAuth flow. You never see their passwords, and they can disconnect their accounts at any time from their own connect page.
