Adobe Express

Send your designs straight from Adobe Express to ShortSync and post them everywhere at once. The ShortSync Post Scheduler add-on works inside your design, so there is nothing to export or download.

The add-on is rolling out now. Until it's on for your account, download your design from Adobe Express as PNG or MP4 and drop the files into ShortSync's Upload page. Everything after that works the same.

Add the add-on

  1. Open a design in Adobe Express on a computer and click Add-ons in the left menu.
  2. Search for ShortSync Post Scheduler and click Add.
  3. Click Sign in to ShortSync and approve the sign-in. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free there. You only need to do this once.

Send a design

  1. Choose the Workspace the design belongs to. The add-on remembers it for next time.
  2. Under Pages, choose This page or All pages.
  3. Click Send to ShortSync. Pages with video go as MP4 and the rest as images, so you don't need to pick a format.
  4. Click Open in ShortSync. Your design opens in the upload flow, ready for adding captions and scheduling. To send something else, click Send another.

If ShortSync is already open in another tab, your design appears in the upload flow by itself. If you're in the middle of another post, ShortSync shows a message with an Open button instead, so your work isn't interrupted. If the tab is on a different workspace, you get the same message. Either way, the design is also saved in that workspace's library.

After sending

Designs work like any other upload. Add a caption, use custom captions for a different text per platform, then schedule the post or publish it right away.

Limits

  • The add-on runs in Adobe Express on a computer, not in the mobile app.
  • With All pages, each page arrives as its own item, and up to 20 open together in the upload flow.
  • Images are sent as PNG, or as JPG when the PNG would be over 20 MB.
  • Designs count toward your uploads and workspace storage like any other upload.

FAQ

Why does it say my design needs Premium?

Adobe Express only exports Premium content with a Premium plan. Replace the Premium elements or upgrade in Adobe Express, then send the design again.

Does ShortSync change anything in my design?

No. The add-on exports the pages you send and never edits your design.

How do I switch accounts?

Click Sign out in the add-on, then sign in with the other account.
