How It Works

When uploading a video, you can write a default caption that applies to all platforms. If you want to customize the caption for specific platforms, simply click on each platform to write a unique caption tailored to that audience.

Each platform has a different audience, culture and caption length limit. Custom captions let you optimize your message with platform-specific hashtags, mentions and language that resonates best with each platform's users.

Youtube Shorts has title and description fields, while other platforms have only a caption field.
