How it works
- 1
Connect Google Photos
In ShortSync, open Settings > Integrations, click Google Photos and sign in with your Google account.
- 2
Pick in Google Photos
On the Upload page, choose Import, then Google Photos. Google Photos opens in a new window; select up to 20 photos and videos and press Done. They come into your upload with a progress bar each.
- 3
Schedule everywhere
Choose the platforms, adjust the caption for each one if you like, and publish now or pick a time. ShortSync posts through each platform's official API (a publishing partner for Snapchat, Reddit and Google Business Profile).
Why post from Google Photos
Skip the download
Photos and videos go from Google Photos to ShortSync server to server, so a long video doesn't need to be saved to your phone or laptop first.
Only what you pick
You choose in Google's own picker, and ShortSync only receives those items. It never sees the rest of your library and can't change anything in it.
Photos, carousels and videos
Pick several photos and post them as a carousel, or as single image posts. Videos go out as Reels, Shorts, TikToks and the other video formats.
iPhone photos just work
Social platforms don't take HEIC, so iPhone photos are converted to JPEG on the way in. There's nothing to convert yourself.
