RSS feed+ShortSync
RSS feed integration

Post your RSS feed to social media automatically

Paste a feed once, such as your podcast's Apple Podcasts link or RSS feed. Each new item goes to Instagram, Discord, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky and your other accounts: its artwork with the title and link, or the video itself for a video podcast.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste the feed

On the Upload page, open Repurpose and create a workflow. Under Post from, pick YouTube or podcast and paste an RSS or Atom feed, or a podcast's Apple Podcasts link. ShortSync shows the latest items so you can check it's the right feed.

  2. 2

Pick the accounts to post to

Choose where each episode should go, and whether it's published right away or saved as a draft for you to review.

  3. 3

    Publish as usual

About 15 minutes after a new item appears in the feed, ShortSync posts it. Items from before you created the workflow aren't posted, unless you set up an old posts workflow for them.

What each item becomes

Audio episodes

The episode's artwork (or the show's cover when an episode has none) as an image post, with the episode title and link as the caption.

Video podcasts

When the feed carries a video file, ShortSync posts the video itself, so it can go to YouTube, TikTok, Reels and the other video platforms too.

The whole back catalog

An old posts workflow works through the episodes already in your feed, a few a day in the time slots you pick, so older episodes get a second round of listeners.

Drafts if you'd rather check

Save each episode as a draft instead, then add a quote or a question per platform before it's published.

Frequently asked questions

An Apple Podcasts show link, or the RSS feed your podcast host gives you (Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Transistor, Spotify for Creators, Captivate and the rest all publish one). Spotify listening links don't work, because Spotify doesn't expose a feed; use the RSS feed from your host instead.
No. Social platforms don't take audio files, so audio episodes are posted as the episode art with the title and link. Video podcasts post the video file.
The full episode file is posted, so each platform's length limit applies. For TikTok, Reels and Shorts, a short trailer or clip episode works best; long episodes suit YouTube and Facebook.
Yes, any RSS or Atom feed whose items carry an image or a video. Items with neither are skipped, since Instagram and most other platforms need a picture to post.
Yes. Connect the Discord channel in ShortSync (Add to Discord, or paste a channel webhook) and pick it under Post to. Each new item arrives with its image, title and link, and the same workflow can post to Instagram and your other accounts too.
TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, Telegram, Mastodon, Discord, Tumblr, Pixelfed, Google Business Profile and Reddit. Image posts skip platforms that only take video, such as YouTube.
