How to Automatically Post Your Twitch Clips Everywhere

Stop downloading and uploading clips one by one. Connect your channel once and every new clip goes to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels on its own.

Your chat clips your best moments every stream, but most of those clips never leave Twitch because posting them is a chore: download, upload to TikTok, upload to YouTube, write the caption again, repeat. A repurposing workflow removes that loop. You pick your Twitch channel as the source and the accounts to post to, and from then on each new clip, whether you or a viewer made it, is reposted for you. This guide shows how to set it up, how to post the clips you already have on a schedule, and how to keep control over what goes out.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1

    Connect your Twitch channel

In ShortSync, open Settings > Integrations and click Connect next to Twitch. Sign in with your channel's Twitch account. ShortSync only asks to read and download your clips; it can't post, edit or delete anything on Twitch.

  2. 2

Connect the accounts to post to

Connect TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and any other account you want the clips on. Clips can go to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, Snapchat Spotlight, X, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more.

  3. 3

    Create a repurposing workflow

Open Repurposing and create a workflow. Under Workflow type choose New posts, under Post from choose your Twitch channel, and under Post to pick the accounts.

  4. 4

    Choose publish or review

Pick Publish right away to post each clip as soon as it's ready, or Save drafts for me to review to get each clip in your library first, where you can tweak the caption or skip it. Drafts are a good start for the first week until you trust the setup.

  5. 5

Go live and clip as usual

That's it. Every clip made on your channel after this point is picked up about 10 to 25 minutes after it's made (Twitch needs a moment to render the file) and posted in the vertical version when Twitch has one, with the clip title as the caption and the YouTube title.

  6. 6

    Post your back catalog too

Create a second workflow and choose Old posts. Pick the time slots (for example 12:00 and 18:00), which clips to include and the order: newest, oldest or most viewed first. ShortSync schedules them into your library up to 30 days ahead, where you can move or cancel any of them.

Tips for best results

  • Give clips searchable titles on Twitch. The title becomes the caption and the YouTube Shorts title, so a good one there saves an edit later.
  • Make or edit your best clips in portrait on Twitch so a vertical version exists; landscape clips still post, but with bars above and below.
  • Viewer clips are reposted too. If you don't want every viewer clip on your TikTok, use Save drafts for me to review and approve the ones you like.
  • Most viewed first is the fastest way to turn an old channel into a month of Shorts: your proven moments go out first.
  • Each repost counts as one upload on your plan, so a workflow to three accounts uses three uploads per clip.
  • Avoid clipping moments with copyrighted music playing; TikTok and YouTube may mute or block them.

Conclusion

Posting Twitch clips by hand works for a clip or two, but it doesn't keep up with a channel that's clipped every stream. Set up one workflow for new clips and one for your back catalog, start with drafts, and switch to publishing right away once the captions look the way you want.
